Are We Cowards for Our Cause?

"So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." Hebrews 13:6

When was the last time you stood up for Israel? For the Jewish people? For the promise of G-d?

Have you ever been in the situation to defend G-d's people and then kept silent?

This happens from time to time.

Be it, in a college classroom (which happens way more often than you think, and in areas you wouldn't expect) or be it a social setting.

Maybe you are afraid of the repercussions on your grade. Maybe you feel like you don't have all of the facts for a sound argument. Maybe you just don't want to be "that guy".

I implore you..BE THAT GUY!

You may be the only one that will speak for Zion, you may be the lone voice that represents the Jewish people and Israel.

No longer can we sit idly by while the other side gets away with the sickening lies about the Lord's people.

The more these lies are repeated, people will start believing them, and especially when nobody refutes the statement.

Lies such as Israeli Apartheid and Israel being an occupying force in "Arab land".

Protecting your citizens from terrorism and a constant stream of rockets flying into your country, since when is that being an "Apartheid State"? Since when has governing from an area that has been historically yours make you an "occupying" state?

They will not get away with their ignorant, anti-Semitic rhetoric anymore!

We are the watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem!
It is time we start acting like it!

Where is G-d?

"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
2 Corinthians 5:7

Why is it that people can't seem to bring themselves to believe in G-d anymore?

Why is faith something for old people?

When did we become a people that lacked in hope and belief?

It was prophesied that, in the days leading up to the return of Yeshua, there would be people who would question his promises,

"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, where is the promise of his coming?..." 2 Peter 3:3-4

People nowadays demand to see things in front of them. They want to see the water turned to wine, they want to SEE the miracles of Yeshua, not just hear about them. It seems the sermons of great Pastors and Rabbis can't suffice the mindset of the times we live in.

Well, those people are in luck, because Christ still speaks to us just as directly as he did in biblical times.
We just have to listen.

For example, on August 23, 2011, the east coast of the US was shaken by an earthquake.
Washington DC, capitol of the Nation Under G-d, a blessed nation, that has blessed Israel and sought favor from the Lord, was rocked and a monument was cracked. You may have heard about it on the news.

The tallest monument in DC, the monument that can be seen from all points of the city, the monument that stands resolute, representing the power of America and liberty, the Washington Monument, was cracked at the top.

Little known fact, on the very top of the monument is an inscription that reads in latin "Laus Deo" which means...."Praise be to G-d".

Adonai Eloheinu (The Lord our G-d) literally took the capitol city of the US, shook it up and, out of all the monuments in the city, cracked the tallest, most recognized monument, that proclaimed "Laus Deo, Praise be to G-d"!!!

And people say where is G-d?

He speaks to those who listen!

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10
But blessed are we, who do not need the power of the Lord manifested in an earthquake, to believe.

After Yeshua's resurrection, Messiah says to the disciple Thomas that he only believes because he has seen, He then goes on to bless the generations that will not be graced with his physical presence on the earth..
"..blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." John 20:29
G-d is with us. Always and forever. He speaks today as powerfully as He did in Eden. We just have to open our hearts and hear his promise.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Shalom!

Why should I support Israel?

Israel.

A Nation.

A People.

A Promise.

"I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land."
Ezekiel 34:13

The Lord keeps His promises, and in May of 1948 the promise of the return became a reality!

The nation of Israel was created, a reunion for the Jewish people and the covenant with G-d.
Finally a homeland, and not just any home land, but THE homeland.

Finally a nation that allowed Jews to freely serve YHWH, a nation that was secure, a nation that was divinely liberated from the global oppression of evil dictators and anti-semitism.

A nation that could defend itself, it's people, and it's Holy capitol, Jerusalem!

"Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished..."
Isaiah 40:2

Your Bible is filled to the top with verses, prophecies, and mandates for supporting Israel.

The Lord told Abraham that "I will bless those who bless you..."

King David implores us to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.."

We have our home, we have our hope.

Her name is Israel, and just as President Ronald Reagan described the USA to the rest of the world, Israel is the shining city on the hill in the middle east!

Be it her technologically advanced society, her prosperous economy, her amazing advances in modern medicine, her military prowess, or her relentless efforts for true peace, this democratic nation is the soul of the Jewish people and a country to be admired by the rest of the planet!

Like the United States, Israel is a nation of liberty, liberty derived by G-d and expressed by the people.

Israel is the sister nation of the United States, and just as the struggles of the Jewish people are the struggles of the Christian people, the problems of Israel are the problems of the United States.

We are one people. Christians and Jews. Israelis and Americans. We are united for freedom and we are believers of the One True G-d!

Support the Jewish homeland of Israel, support the causes of liberty, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
